Electrician/Field Technician - Building Automation

Job Description

We are looking for a creative, motivated, and organized self-starter with a professional attitude. The position requires the person to be responsible for all aspects of control systems installation. Responsibilities include understanding HVAC and DDC control system schematics, control wiring, control components, and HVAC systems. Our Installers work in the field directly with our customers and must maintain a neat and professional appearance, be well spoken, enthusiastic, resourceful and professional.

Job Requirements

  1. Vermont State Electrical License required.
  2. Current driver’s license with a good driving record.
  3. An extensive electrical background required with the ability to demonstrate strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  4. Must be able to run conduit.
  5. Ability to work well independently in a timely, self-directed manner and as part of a team.
  6. Strong verbal communication skills, including ability to keep others informed.
  7. Ability to read plans and understand HVAC controls prints, hydronic/plumbing and electric systems.
  8. In-state travel is required – in a company provided vehicle
  9. Maintain positive customer relations while resolving concerns and answering questions.
  10. Maintains a safe and secure working environment by following codes, regulations, and safe practices.
